Mitali Honoured By World Chess Federation

Aurangabad:Former Commonwealth Woman Chess Champion Mitali Patil of Aurangabad achieved one more success in her illustrious career when she was awarded the title of FIDE Instructor by FIDE (The World Chess Federation). This is a title awarded to the eminent chess coaches. Mitali was coach of Indian Blind women team in the last Chess Olympiad. 

Mitali, who had won World School Championship and World Amateur Championship in her teens has started coaching International players and has students in UAE, USA and Singapore apart from our own country. The Aurangabad girl has achieved academic success too by studying Architecture.

Vijay Deshpande who is Secretary of both All Marathi Chess Association and All India Chess Federation was the first FIDE Instructor from Aurangabad. He congratulated Mitali for her glorious achievement and hoped that Mitali’s expertise will be beneficial to the chess players of Aurangabad. 

Mitali who has been trained by Dronacharya Awardee chess coach Raghunandan Gokhale since her childhood is being showered by accolades by chess lovers across Marathwada. Hemendra Patel, a veteran organiser wished Mitali success in her journey as a chess coach. The Marathwada has achieved first woman FIDE Instructor who can help the children achieve dream success in their career.
